Technical Program Introduction
The technical program of CORCON 2016 will include
  • Technical Symposia with sessions on plenary, keynote, invited and contributory talks on specific topics. For a listing of symposia topics and their scope, Click : Symposia
  • Technical Interactive Forum (TIF) on specific topics are scheduled to facilitate discussions between delegates and a panel of experts. For a listing of TIF and their objectives and conduct, Click : TIF
  • Poster Papers
The papers in the technical symposia are aimed to provide information about the mechanisms of corrosion as well as advances in various areas of corrosion and its control including new techniques/products to mitigate corrosion. Also included, will be case studies on corrosion-related deterioration/failures in industries.
The technical committee will select speakers for plenary and keynote / invited talks. The committee comprising a chair and experts for each symposium shall review the abstracts of all contributory papers related to their symposium and select some for presentation as contributory talks or poster papers during the conference.
Abstracts of all plenary, keynote, invited and contributory talks as well as the poster papers will be included in the conference souvenir and the full text of all technical papers (talks as well as posters) will be included in the CD containing conference proceedings. Further, the technical committee will evaluate all technical papers, contributory talks and poster papers and present awards for the best papers in various categories during the valedictory function.


Recent Updates
Technical Program of CORCON has now been finalized. All the Authors are requested to submit the powerpoint files before 25 August 2015 and register for CORCON 2016 before 30 August. The Papers of those Authors who have not registered for CORCON before 30 August will not be included in the conference proceedings.


IMPORTANT FOR PRESENTING AUTHORS: The authors are required to upload their powerpoint file for approval to CORCON website. These approved presentation files would be made available in the presentation laptop. No presentation file would be taken from the author inside the presentation hall. For a backup, all the authors are also requested to bring the approved version of their powerpoint file on a pen drive to CORCON and check the availability of their presentation file at the time of registration.
