NACE International Gateway India Section
Established in 1992,NACE International Gateway India Section (NIGIS) has become of the largest and most active sections of NACE International through its significant efforts for the promotion of corrosion awareness in India.
With more than 1100 members, NIGIS has organized over 150 CIP Level 1,2 & Peer Review, CIP 2 Emphasis, Nuclear course, Refinery Corrosion and CP 1,2 & 3 certification courses of NACE International besides hosting 20 annual conferences. To commemorate Corrosion Awareness Day, NIGIS presents awards to individuals and institutions for their contributions to corrosion awareness and developments in the field of corrosion science and technology. The Gateway India Section sponsors two student chapters,one each in Mumbai and Chennai / Kalpakkam. In 2013, the first NACE student conference for students, CORSYM, was organised by the NIGIS South Zone Student Section.

Recent Updates
Technical Program of CORCON has now been finalized. All the Authors are requested to submit the powerpoint files before 25 August 2015 and register for CORCON 2016 before 30 August. The Papers of those Authors who have not registered for CORCON before 30 August will not be included in the conference proceedings.


IMPORTANT FOR PRESENTING AUTHORS: The authors are required to upload their powerpoint file for approval to CORCON website. These approved presentation files would be made available in the presentation laptop. No presentation file would be taken from the author inside the presentation hall. For a backup, all the authors are also requested to bring the approved version of their powerpoint file on a pen drive to CORCON and check the availability of their presentation file at the time of registration.
